Denim

Does anyone collect denim to make quilts or something like that?  I have a whole bunch of jeans that I am going to get rid of.  If anyone want them they are all theirs.  my SILs all keep jeans for quilts and other projects and so I feel compelled to keep them and give them away.  Just let me know.-Wendy

kiddie pool

I am getting into sewing and different projects around the house. I was wondering if anyone has a sewing machine laying around that would love to give to a good home!

Baby Trend Snap and Go Stroller

With a new baby coming in a couple of days I'm in the market for a new stroller. I got rid of my travel system and need something to replace it. I have a baby trend car seat so I think I'd like the snap and go stroller to go with it. I could buy it brand new, but would rather buy it used for a little cheaper. With so many people moving I thought someone might have one they would like to sell or know someone who is selling one. If you hear about one on the market please let me know.

Selling some things...

We are moving to a smaller place at the end of the summer and have to sell a few things. Thought I'd let you know in case anyone was interested. There may be more to come...

1) 10 gallon Fish Tank setup with sturdy wooden stand, $40. Setup includes everything in picture except fish--decor, heater, filter (with some replacement filters), and hood with light. Everything works perfectly. We've sure loved this thing. SOLD

2) Three sturdy matching brown bookshelves, one tall and two short, $15 each or $40 for all three. These pictures are off the Internet, but this is pretty much what they look like, though the short ones are skinnier. A few marks here or there, but nothing major. SOLD

looking for a Wheelchair

Yup!  You read that right.  I am looking to rent or borrow a wheelchair for a day.  Some friends of ours are coming into the area from Alaska, and I want to go and see them, but I can't unless I find a wheelchair.  I know this is a long shot, but you never know.  Call me or email if you can help.

Mitch is sorting through a whole bunch of our stuff TODAY and then taking it to the Salvation Army TODAY!  But he wanted me to put it up here first.  We have mini wall shelves, boy clothes, fabric and other stuff I can't even think of right now.  Basically if anyone wants to stop by they are welcome to sift through the madness and take whatever they want, we are happy to find a new home for this stuff.  Call me if you have questions.

Community Service Cookbook Fundraiser

The Penn State Hershey resident wives' group, Partners in Medicine, is holding a fundraiser for all the community service/charity work we do throughout the year. ALL of the proceeds of this fundraiser will go directly to our community. We have put together an AWESOME collection (150+ recipes) of our members' FAVORITE recipes. It is a professionally printed, perfectly sized, spiral bound book. These recipes are tried and true by women with husbands in medical residency...which means they are either on a budget for time or money...or both!


We are holding a pre-sale for the cookbooks through March 31st. We are asking for a $10 donation for one book, or $8 per cookbook if you order two or more. These books will arrive towards the end of April, so they will make the PERFECT Mother's Day gift!! Bundle Me

Does anyone need a navy blue, fleece Bundle Me carseat cover? It is one of those cozy blanket things that zips into the carseat. Bad timing since summer is on the way but it is free for the taking!

Rent our place!

We have been renting a great townhome off rt.39 in the Villas these last three years.  It has been a great place for our family.  It is a three bed, 2.5 bath with a great floor plan, a fenced backyard, and a two car garage.  Out home owners would like to put it back on the market BUT they said they would rent it again if we found good renters for them.  We will not be advertising this in the new residency packets, but I just thought if anyone is in contact with someone looking to rent think of us.  We would be happy to talk to anyone about it, and they are welcome to come as see it, though they will really have to look beyond the bed rest mess that my house will be in until we leave.  I highly recommend this house as a rental.  The elementary school is awesome.  The neighborhood is quit, and there is a pool right across rt. 39, and the masterbedroom is HUGE! An armoire we got from the Heastons. (the picture makes it look wider and more squatty than it really is). It can use a couple of screws in the side and back to stabilize it a bit.  I might be able to get Jason to do it....  We need this gone today, because tomorrow, Sat., it's going to the curb with a free sign on it.  We're getting ready for new carpet next week.
Also free, this tube TV that has served us well.  Still works. 21" also going on curb tomorrow.
I'm selling the DVD and VCR player on Craigslist, but if  you want them, I'd give them to you for free.  And can I just say how I love VHS?  Seriously, can you get a better kid-proof video?  Caleb once pulled the tape out of one, strung it across the room, and ripped it.  I rolled it back up, taped the rip, and Walah!  "The Little Mermaid" was as good as new!  Now try that with a DVD, that gets one scratch when put on the ground, and lotion will help for only so long.... OK, I'm getting off my soap box.  Long live VHS!!!!!

We have Ibuprofen coming out of our ears and won't use it before it expires. Both containers are unopened.

We also have a little pedometer that needs new batteries. I've never used it (don't even remember who I got it from), but I'm sure it works. If nobody wants it soon, I'll second-hand-store it. :D (GONE)
