I've got some stuff to unlaod

This is taken from my own blog, but I thought I would share it here with my good friends on this blog. Thanks, Wendy

I have been really busy lately. If you were to have come to my house you would have seen a big old mess, and piles of yarn and fabric.

Lately my life has been knit, crochet, sew, eat a little, sleep a little, do it all again. I committed to doing a booth at a charity auction with my hats, legwarmers and baby shoes.

I made A LOT of hats, shoes and legwarmers.

Unfortunately for me I ended up making a lot more product that I sold and so I have some stuff to sell. So here is the deal; I am going to list in this post what I have to sell. If you live in the area, contact me and I will bring it to you. If you are elsewhere, contact me and I will mail it to you. Just pay shipping, these items are small so they should be really cheap to send. Are you ready? Here is the list

I'll start with shoes. All shoes are $15.00, and come in three sizes, 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months.

Penn State Shoes; Style #1 on of each size. Style #2-0-6 months, 6-12 months, style #3 one in each size.

Eagles 1 pair of each size: 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months.

Steelers; 1 pair of each size; 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months

Blue plaid: one pair in each size
Pink garden: one pair size 6-12 months
Dots and Stars: one pair 6-12 months, one pair 12-18 months

Monkeys: 2 pairs, 0-6 months, 1 pair 6-12 months

Spots and Dots: 1 pair, 0-6 months, 1 pair, 6-12 months.

Asian red: 1 pair each, 0-6 months, 6-12 months.

Apples in corduroy: 1 pair each, 0-6 months, 6-12 months.

Brown Cow: 1 pair each; 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months.
So that's the shoes. Give me some time and I will get the hats and legwarmers up. This stuff will also make it to Etsy soon, but I would like to sell as much as I can without having to pay Etsy first. If you know me you can call me or e-mail me. If you don't have my info leave a comment and a way I can find you. Seriously these are super cute shoes. Get them for you or for baby shower gifts.

Kirkland Wipe Box?

Jennifer Hull is looking for a Kirkland Wipe Box. Anyone have one laying around that she could use?

Great Tip!

My neighbor just sent me the following:
"Speaking of bacon... I wanted to buy some pre-cooked crumbled bacon at Giant to use in your farfalle recipe. The last time I was able to get it from the meat counter, but today I found it at the salad bar. I filled up a container for only $3.99 /lb. That's the same price you would pay for uncooked bacon in the refrigerator section. Why buy raw bacon and deal with the mess?!? What I also realized is that you could do the same with the crumbled blue cheese and feta cheese on the salad bar. If you bought a sealed container, you're paying $8.99 /lb, versus $3.99 at the salad bar. Just thought I'd pass along the savings opportunity -- as long as you're not paranoid about the salad bar germs!!"

12mos-5T holiday dress

I'm not sure if this is useful or not but I was at Gap Outlet yesterday and they have a darling, elegant red satin dress (very detailed with round satin buttons and a little tulle sticking out of the bottom, maybe a sash and ruffles around the neck?). It was originally 29.99 but 30% off. If you use a Give and Get coupon, it's around 13.99. Unfortunately my 3-year old doesn't share my taste but it's one of the classiest holiday dresses I've seen. The rack was full. I stood at stared at them for a minute or two hoping my little darling would change her mind. Not that she needed one.

Part Time Work?

The other day I heard from a guy I went to law school with. He's working in Texas, but he said what he does could be done in PA too. Here's the information he sent me via email below. I thought maybe some of you would be interested in some part time work before Christmas. I have no idea how it works, but I think you can do it from home. Here's his email address:
byulawman1@att.net

Here's his email:
Hi Bridget,
Thanks for your willingness to help on this. I was going to just pass on Pennsylvania for now and concentrate on Texas (where I live and work), but the opportunity was just too good to not try and get started. I found an old alumni page that said you were in PA, so I decided to contact you and see what I could get developed. As you probably heard, PA deregulated their energy and took the caps off the electrical service, providing our company an opportunity to get involved. We are just starting to take customers this week, so the market potential is huge.
I have a website that is probably the best way to introduce this to people long distance, at robbinspower2.igniteinc.biz - there is a brief introductory video on the home page, and if you look on the left hand side of the page there is a banner for Join Ignite, another for Request for Service, and the bottom one has a "Play" arrow that you can click on. A new window will open with a video for Opportunity, and Compensation Plan, as well as several testimonials.
As you can see, this is a great opportunity for your friends that were looking for something part-time, and the compensation plan could return over $1000 before Christmas! If anyone is interested, they can contact me at this email or through the website contact info. My cell phone is 281-658-7774 for quicker contact. If you could send this info as soon as possible, that would be great, because there is a FREE training this coming weekend (which usually costs about $50-$100) at:
Valley Forge Convention Plaza
1160 First Avenue
King of Prussia, PA 19406
Room: Delaware Ballroom
Price: Free, but registration is required through the
Power Center
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Thanks again for your help!
Sincerely,
Evan Robbins

Black Boots

Is anyone in need of black boots - I bought them last winter out of town forgetting that I already had a pair just like it.  They're size 9, 2" heel, inside zipper from Bass.  I don't think I ever wore them either.  So if anyone wants a new pair, I'm selling them for $25 or negotiable.  Just let me know if you want to check them out.

Great deal on a fridge

Dee Klinger has a white fridge 9.6 cubic fridge she is selling for $50. Great deal. The fridge is clean and has a small dint near the handle. It is five years old. Call her for more details or if you are interested. She is moving and needs to get rid of it by Saturday.

Free Train Display in Hershey

There's a little museum across from the outlets (you know which one I'm talking about right? because I have no idea what the name is) that has a train display. Paul took the kiddos last year and they loved it so I'm assuming it's the same one. It will be out until the end of December.

Price of Honey

I just did a quick bit of research on the price of honey for our food storage and thought you might like to know the results.

Sam's Club  about 14 cents an ounce.
Emergency Essentials about 24 cents an ounce in #10 cans.

Other places sell honey too, but they were between 25 and 35 cents an ounce. Any other suggestions?

Bag of MIsc. Fabric

I went through my fabric and have quite a bit of larger misc. scraps (various colors and textures) if anyone would like them. I haven't gone through the small scraps yet that I like to use for appliques. Let me know if you are interested in one or both.

Cheese

I bought some Kraft cheese today and found the following on a little sticker stuck to my cheese:
go here to save $5.00 on 5 Kraft cheese or dairy products. I was able to print two.
Who doesn't love cheese?! Kraft cheese is on sale $2/4 at Giant this week.

Too Good To Be True?

Suzette called to tell me about something that is really true! I just called CVS to make sure that if you spend $25 worth of Proctor and Gamble products listed on the front page of their ad, you can get Toy Story 3 for $4.00. The lady I spoke with in Hershey said they have plenty of DVDs. How is that for great?! Everyone needs toilet paper anyway!!
THANKS SUZETTE!

Any runners?

I am looking for someone who is interested in doing the Bird In Hand half marathon this weekend. I am registered but I am no longer able to do it. The registration is a $80 right now, but I would sell my registration for $30. Send me and email or call me if you are interested. Thanks, Wendy
