Silly Bandz
For all of you who want Silly Bandz and know they are a little hard to find right now, I just went to "The Book Cellar" store at the Hershey Outlets and they have them. They have a great selection and they are $5.00 for a 24 pack. They just got this shipment in at 1 p.m. today, ordered more and were put on back order. So I would suggest if you want them to go get them soon!
Crib Mattress and Baby-sitter
I have a crib mattress that we don't use and its up for grabs if anyone wants it. It is newer (bought it 3 years ago) and in pretty good shape (taken a few sledding-like runs down the stairs, courtesy of Will). I also have a sheet and mattress cover that can go along with it.
Also, I'm wondering if anyone is game to watch my kids on Saturday, April 17th from 8am-5pm. Billy and I are trying to squeeze in a trip up to Syracuse before we move and so help would be much appreciated.

Unbelievable Price For Swim Lessons
Go HERE to download a form to pay $17 for a week of swim lessons. It is out of the way but I think I'm convinced to go ahead and make the drive this summer. Meredith took these lessons with a friend last summer and the Bryce kids took lessons there too. Everyone was VERY pleased. We'd all tried the Hershey Rec Center pool and the kids got WAY better instruction at these lessons and at a fraction of the cost.

Townhome for Sale
So I decided to take Bridget's lead and post our townhome for sale on the blog. We're hoping for the same luck as the Bakers in selling our place. :) We just recently put our town home (in Hummelstown) up for sale. We've already dropped the price, and are still very willing to negotiate. If anyone knows of new incoming residents or anyone looking for a place, feel free to send them our way. We would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to sell our place!! (Can I stress that enough. ) It's been a great location and neighborhood. To check it out, go to:
http://www.hersheyareahomes.com/154_Merlin_Drive.php
Good luck to all of us that are in the same boat right now trying to sell a home in this flat market! Can I say that I am very envious of the med students living in the Manor right now?

Hotels at Philly Airport
We are flying out through Philly and we need a hotel where we can park our car and leave it there without having to pay a ton for parking.
I know a lot of you fly out of Philly and I would love any suggestions for hotels you may have used.
Thanks!

Musical Time
Hi everybody! If you're looking for some cheap entertainment, or just really like musicals, my kids are at it again. They're performing Once on This Island, Jr. this weekend. For those of you that aren't up on your musical trivia- this musical is a Pacific Island version of the Little Mermaid (more akin to the actual fairytale than the Disney version). It's at 7:30pm this Friday and Saturday the 26th & 27th at Lemoyne Middle School (very first exit across the bridge on 322/83 South). It's $5 for adults and $2 for students/kids. If you need directions or anything let me know. :)

Gap Outlet
If you need a coupon for 30% off, scroll down a few entries.
It's worth going if you need a few things.
I got Grant his bucket hat for 3.49 and several other items. The jammies for little boys and girls ended up being less than $5. I don't know what it is but little boy pjs with tools and trains on them but they make me weak in the knees. They had a big selection for little girls. Gap has the cutest pjs!
They had an exclusive deal- women's capri pants in white, tan stripes or dark khaki for 14.99 and that's before the 30% off. I couldn't try them on and am sort of glad or I'd have been tempted to get them all! They had other summer pants for 60% off but I tried to stay away from things I didn't go into the store for so I can't give you exact prices. The place was hopping. I gave my coupon to the lady in front of me, used it myself then passed it on to the lady behind me.
It's a great day for a good deal.

Stuff Swap Time?
Hi all!
It seems like we're all doing a lot of spring cleaning and moving preparation. Would it be a good idea to plan a stuff swap for next week or something? We could have it anywhere (i.e. doesn't have to be the church), or we could combine it with the Thursday morning exercise thing, if that would help.
Post comments if you're interested.

Swim Help
I don't know if any of you are as panicked as I am about heading to the pool with so many small children but I just stumbled upon these. You can see that the reviews are pretty good! Just thought I'd pass it along in case it eases anyone's mind. Regular floaties don't give me a whole lot of confidence when my hands are full and a life vest just seems like overkill for a baby pool...
Help with our Move
Most of you know we are moving. Whitney doesn't want me to ask for help with the move, but I have a diabolical plan. (Okay, maybe it's just a plan!) I will "pay" whoever comes to help us with...
a gas grill! And/Or a charcoal grill.
And lots of food. (Frozen, canned, bags of bread flour, etc.)
Who knows--there will be lots of other things we decide not to take... If you come help, you get first dibs!
We are going by PODS and so we need help on Saturday March 27, and Monday March 29.
Please email or comment on here if you think you might be able to help Whit load. :-)

Easter Egg Hunts
Hey Everyone,
I thought I would post the dates of upcoming Easter Egg Hunts. I missed the Halloween one and was so sad. So here are the dates.
Shank Park: Saturday March 27th (2 year olds 10am, 5 year olds 10:30, 7 year olds 10:45).
The Hershey Outlets: Friday April 2nd @ 9:15 am.
Just thought I would let you know so you don't miss out on the fun.
Also I was wondering if anyone has a baby excersaucer that they aren't using that I could borrow for the next couple of months. Easton is in the stage where he only wants to stand. We will only need it until we move....hopefully...in May. Just let me know. Thanks!!

household items
I have a 10 year old Hoover wind tunnel vacuum that we are getting rid of. If anyone wants it, it's yours.
Also, I am selling a Zojirushi bread machine. I will be putting it on ebay and craigslist, but I thought if anyone had interest I would put it out to you first. It makes great bread in the traditional rectangular loafs. I have just found that I like to make bread my own way and so I just don't use it anymore, and that seemed like a shame. Contact me for more information if you are interested.
I also have a lot of boys 4t and 3t clothes to give away. I just don't see boy #3 needing them if there is a boy #3. Again, contact me and they are all yours. --Wendy

Spring Cleaning
Here are a few items up for grabs. I can bring them to you Sunday.
Littlest Pet Shop house with elevator and swings that turn automatically. You can also move your animal through the tunnel and spin them on the carosel.

Littlest Pet Shop house with elevator and swings that turn automatically. You can also move your animal through the tunnel and spin them on the carosel.
To get the swings to turn you must have a LPS animal with a magnetic dot on the bottom. I believe that most of them do. (This might be pink and blue but my boys loved it! )
Ball toy that lights up.
Toaster Oven
Hey does anyone have a toaster oven that they don't use and would like to get rid of/sell to me? I need it for a project (non food) but don't want to go buy a new one if I don't have too!
Thanks!

Train Pictures, 25" Cardstock and anything else I keep finding as we pack :)
Large train puzzle hanging on the boys wall.
These are 8 x 10(ish) very cool train pictures in black frames that have been in my boys's room. They are yours if you want them!
Does anyone want 3 large pieces of cardstock for a project? I planned to use it for a large family tree for our wall, but won't get to it before moving.

Cancelled!!!
Hey ladies,
Due to a scheduling conflict, I am going to have to reschedule the scrabble/glass tile party to another day.
I haven't figured out when that will be, but will let you know for those of you who wanted to come.
Thanks
(And good luck to all the 4th years! I remember Black Monday like it was yesterday!!!)

Tons of flannel scraps
Baby Carseat/Carrier
We've got a Graco blue and gray plaid baby carrier/carseat combo (with base) that the Wrights gave us. It was used for Bennet, so it only has a little time left—maybe the rest of the year. If you know anyone who could use it, let me know.
Thanks!

Suzette's Fabric Scraps
Suzette was so nice and gave me a grocery bag full of fabric scraps. I chose a few fabrics for small projects but the reality is, I won't get to use them before we move next year so I may as well pass them along to someone who can. Is anyone interested? There is a wide variety of colors and patterns.
Baskets
Denim for Quilts etc
I have a large box of denim that I have for making things like denim quilts etc. If you would like it, it's yours!
Printable Fabric - Make your Own!
For anyone that has used printable fabric, you know this is VERY EXPENSIVE! Typically it runs about $3-4 for an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet. However, they are GREAT for tons of personalized projects like appliques on shirts, homemade tags, photo quilts and soooo much more.
That being said you can image how excited I was to find this post on how to make your own for CHEAP! It even has an easy tutorial idea for making personalized bean bags. How fun would that be1 this was just to good to not share :) Thanks Amy at The Idea Room and Beckie at Infarrantly Creative!

Giant and Amazon
If you haven't made it to Giant this week to get the Seviroli Ravloi and Ittibitz Ice Cream Cups that are on sale both 6 for $1 then GO! I went today and of course they were out (I wasn't really expecting any to be there) but they are happy to give you a rain check at the customer service desk so you can come back and get them later. Perfect!
Second, Camie said I should post about Amazon Prime. It's a $79 yearly subscription for Amazon that gets you free 2-day shipping. The great thing about it is you can share it with four other family members. So you could potentially have 5 people on the same account. So if you split it with your family it would cost <$20 per person which is a good deal if you use Amazon frequently.

Free baby gift bags
I would expect a lot of these posts in the next few weeks as we get rid of all of our stuff pre-move.
I just thought of something I don't want to move. When I had Eli (especially) and even with Dora, I got lots of gifts. I saved all the bags (call me crazy) thinking I would reuse them? I never remembered to! SO I HAVE LIKE 100 bags! And lots of tissue paper! I kept buying bags or just wrapping (or not wrapping!) presents. So, if you are a saver like me, feel free to take these. If you're more organized, it could save you a lot! As always with me, whoever can come get them immediately can have them... 533-1979

Once Upon A Potty Video for Girls
Can someone use the Once upon a Potty Video for girls? It follows along just like the book, if you are familiar with it, and has a catchy song at the end that my kids all loved to sing when they were in this stage. I no longer have the cover but the video is fine.

Scrabble tile and Glass Necklaces
I figured this was the best way to get this out to everyone.
A few months ago, a bunch of you came to my house and made scrabble tile and glass tile necklaces.
I had many people ask if I was going to do it again and I said I would. I am thinking of doing it again March 20th. Like last time, I ask that you don't bring kids since there are lots of sharp tools, and stuff they could get into, but you are more than welcome to come in shifts so you can watch each others kids. Also plan on leaving your projects at my house to dry and you can come get them later or I will bring them to church.
I am going to be putting in a supply order on Monday, so a general idea of how many glass tiles I need to order and some of the other supplies would be great.
Here is the price breakdown:
Regular scrabble tile with glaze. PLUS 18" ball chain necklace $5.00 each

Scrabble tile with Plastic sticker label. PLUS 18" ball chain necklace $5.50 each.
Scrabble tile with Plastic sticker label. PLUS 18" ball chain necklace $5.50 each.
Glass tile Pendants:
All different shapes, PLUS 18" ball chain necklace $6.00 EACH (I use mostly paper for these, and not the digital images because of the different sizes.)
I will send out an evite once I know who wants to come and what time to plan on, but for now, let me know if you are coming and how many you think you are going to want to make. You are welcome to make more, I will order some extras if they are still available.
Leave a comment here or email me!
Thanks!

Come learn how to start (or restart) your family history.

Email Nancy Jones with any questions or to sign up for display space. We'll be setting up Friday evening from 6:30–8:00p.m. or before the activity until 8:45 a.m.

Disney On Ice Princess Classics
You all probably got the same ad in the mail for Disney of Ice, but just in case you didn't April 7th (opening night) tickets are $13. The coupon code is HR68. It says if you order them by tonight you get the best seats. Tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow. So hurry and get you tickets tonight. I don't know if the code will only work once or several times, so it might be the first person who tries to use it gets the deal.
Stocked up on Meats
While I was out shopping today, there were 3 great meat deals that I took full advantage of . . .
Karns has Boneless/Skinless Chicken breast at $1.48 when you buy 10 pounds or more (GREAT price for pressure canning :)
Also, Karns has baking hams for $1/lb
the refrigerator case by the milk has LOTS of hams for this price (some are processed, some are not, but none of them are presliced . . . .
but there is a small freezer case just across from the eggs that had honey baked Spiral sliced hams for $1 as well!!! They have a "use by" dates for this week, but use them now or freeze them for later and it's a GREAT deal!
Giant has Oscar Meyer hotdogs for buy one get one free. They are usually $4.49 / pkg. To my surprise, I realized that if you buy 2 (pay for 1, get one free), then you also get a coupon that prints out for $2.00 your next purchase! I bought some of the cheese filled and the bun-length kinds yesterday and several more packages today and it worked every time! In fact, I was just goofy enough to do 3 transactions with 4 packages in the 1st 2, then used the $4 off on the next transaction and got $more to use on the next, . . . . you get the point so it came to $1.25/pkg instead of $4.49!! It could be even cheaper if you have Oscar Meyer coupons to use as well :)

Gymboree Outlet Coupon
I have a 15% off total purchase coupon for anyone who would like it. It expires on the 7th of March.
Also, I called to ask about their swimwear and they are getting another shipment in next week which means a better selection. All their swimwear will have SPF which has not been the case in the past. Their swimwear is usually 17.99 but often times go on sale.

Refilling the Pump-Soaps!
I found this GREAT money saving tip at Not so Idle Hands for all of you who are addicted to the FOAMING pump soaps for hand and dish washing like I am. Go here to see how you can make the refills yourself by buying the regular liquid soaps (creamy styles not recommended) and refilling SEVERAL foaming bottles yourself.
Hope this helps!

Plums with Apples
Are there any babies out there who would like to eat 11 jars of Nature's Goodness Plums with Apples? I've tried disguising them in other foods just to be spit out over and over again.
If you're interested, you can find them in the mother's lounge. If you want to claim them beforehand, go ahead or if you'd like them before Sunday you are welcome to swing by.
